3. About the Founders

About Thomas
Born in Chester, lived in Flintshire for 20 years, moved to Kuwait and South Africa during early childhood, and now lives in Denbighshire, north Wales. Studied at Wrexham and York colleges and achieved a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design. Worked as a horticulturalist for several years before becoming a graphic designer, freelance web designer and marketeer.

He first began to develop an interest in psychical research after observing some impressive mental mediumship which seemed to offer suggestive evidence. As a sceptic, he was not entirely convinced but remained open-minded. Later he happened to chance upon an article by Oliver Lodge entitled The Mode of Future Existence which made a big impression. He then began to read works by James Hyslop, William Crookes, G. N. M. Tyrrell, William Barrett, William James, Charles Richet and many others.

Although not 100% convinced, he has gradually come to adopt survival as the most likely hypothesis.

About David
Currently lives in West Virginia, USA. His initial interest in survival developed from a study of various so-called paranormal phenomena such as materialisations, NDEs, independent direct-voice and mental mediumship. He was particularly impressed early on by the works of Arthur Findlay, Oliver Lodge and William Crookes. Like his colleague, he came to adopt survival as the most likely hypothesis over a period of several years. Since then he has continued to passionately investigate and study the evidence for survival and its associated phenomena. Recently he was invited to sit with a number of mental and direct-voice mediums in America.
